Hottest Events in Miami and Naples this October - November 2019

Fall in Miami and Naples can be a wonderful time of year. It’s much cooler and a little less humid than the height of summer, with highs in the temperate 70s and 80s. Crowds can be much thinner, too, making for shorter lines and easier admission to top attractions. If you’re planning a trip and looking for things to do in Miami  and Naples  this October and November in the Fall, take a look at our suggestions for the top attractions and activities to check out this fall:

Miami Book Fair, Nov. 17-24, 2019, Miami
More than 450 top-tier authors read and discuss their work at one of the best book fairs in the nation. During Street Fair weekend, Nov. 22-24, more than 250 publishers and booksellers exhibit and sell books, with special features like the antiquarians, who showcase signed first editions, original manuscripts, and other collectibles. Live music accompanies the street fair.

Monster Splash @ Miami Seaquarium
October 2019
Miami Seaquarium
This delightful family event, taking place several weekends throughout October, is perfect for getting in all your favorite fall activities. Find your way through the hay maze, wander a picturesque pumpkin patch, craft your most intimidating (or friendliest!) scarecrow, and take part in Flipper’s Dance Party. Kids can also enjoy face-painting, inflatable toys,  children’s rides, and much more. It’s a must-visit for families with kids! Aside from celebrating the fall, you can also see all the exhibits and animals that call the aquarium home every day.

Zoo Boo @ Zoo Miami
October 26-27, 2019
Zoo Miami
Families will love the gently spooky fun of the daytime Zoo Boo. Come in costume with your kids 12 and under for some special treats, a family costume contest, and see the animals get special Halloween treats. There will also be music, games with fun prizes, and friendly costumed staff to make the environment really festive. This is the perfect excuse to celebrate Halloween while exploring the many animals that call the zoo home. See lions, bears, and tigers while you’re all dressed up!

Art Deco Walking Tours
Now that the weather has cooled off a bit and things have become less swampy, spend some time strolling around and enjoying the stunning historic architecture of the Art Deco District. Take a walking tour of this historic district conducted by local historians and architects that have extensive knowledge of the art building and styles. Walk by the retro, colorful buildings and snap pictures as you learn more about this era of architectural exploration.

Millionaire’s Row Cruises
Revel in the wonderful breezes dancing across Biscayne Bay on a peaceful and relaxing sightseeing cruise. Enjoy 90-minutes of relaxation aboard the cruise ship as you float around the bay. Soak in the natural beauty of the Venetian Islands while enjoying delicious food and drinks. You’ll get to enjoy unparalleled views of the natural beauty of Biscayne Bay, plus the stunning architecture of Millionaire’s Row. It’s also worth the chance to enjoy the experience without a massive crowd.

Jungle Island
This is one of Miami’s most popular animal attractions and it’s well worth a visit in the proverbial offseason (Miami is kind of fantastic year ‘round, we just mean the season with fewer tourists). You’ll get to enjoy close-up animal encounters, expert demonstrations, and meet some of the cooler critters around. You’ll even have a chance to test your bravery on a skydiving simulator. Jungle Island is full of things to do, from seeing your favorite animal to games and rides.Miami Bus Tour
Another one to enjoy with a much thinner crowd. We’ve talked about how cool the Big Bus is, and how it’s a great way to explore Miami with minimal fuss. Use it as the backbone of your trip and you’ll see how easy it is! Some highlights of this open-air bus tour include South Beach, Coconut Grove, Little Havana, and more. On the Yellow Route, you’ll also drive past the Villa Vizcaya, Miami Seaquarium, and the PĂ©rez Art Museum.

Miami Broward Carnival
October 13-14, 2019
Miami-Dade Country Fairgrounds
Indulge in a masquerade as locals and visitors alike celebrate Caribbean culture and heritage. You’ll see amazing pageantry, talented musical performances, and all-around fantastic entertainment. Leading up to the big event, there are few other events to attend as well. Miami Junior Carnival on September 29th, Miami Carnival’s Panorama on October 5th, and Miami Carnival Official J’Ouvert on October 6th. These mini-events will hype you up for the grand celebration on October 7th.

Kiteober Fest
October 19-20, 2019
Haulover Park
This is the ideal family event in Miami. It’s a giant festival dedicated exclusively to the flying of colorful, fanciful kites, so who wouldn’t love it? Take advantage of paper kite-building classes, expert demonstrations, and kite-flying competitions for all ages. Bring your own kite or purchase one on-site. Be sure to sample something from the nearby food trucks, too!

South Beach Seafood Week
October 22-26, 2019
Miami Beach
A fantastic, multi-day culinary event that celebrates South Florida’s delectable seafood culture, this festival is a must-do for foodies. It also marks the kick-off of Miami’s stone crab season, so it’s a great chance to be introduced to a local foodie favorite. Of course, it wouldn’t be a festival without great drinks, live entertainment, and specialty kids’ events! There’s something for everyone at the South Beach Seafood Festival.

Going home For Christmas

Christmas is approaching. Where we celebrate and gather with our friends and families. A once in a year opportunity to be with the one we love. A longer time for our families who worked from a distance and aren’t able to come home for many months due to hectic schedules to be with us this holiday season.

Are you home for christmas?

If you can’t make it on their birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, and other special occasions, why take this time to be home for christmas. Surprise your loved ones. You may not be able to buy gifts for them, but having you there for christmas would be the greatest gift your family would have.

But before going home make sure to:

Finish all your works and reports. (This is the best way to please your boss to grant your going home plan.
Bring only necessary things you will need for your vacation. So that you will have enough space for presents.
Of course, wrapped all your presents and label them (you do not want to miss one present). Don’t have time to go shopping? Shop online but be sure they will deliver it before christmas.
Make sure to empty your fridge if you can’t take them give them to your neighbors or give it to the needy outside, they will be glad.
Turn off your electricity and make sure to get your house or apartment ready when you come back.
Don’t forget to schedule an advance travel.
Lastly is Check, Check and double check.

Are you excited now? Are your bags are packed? While people are rushing on the stores the streets will be crowded. Riding a public transport can be hasle. Your boss has given you christmas bonus or your 13th month pay. You can’t ride a public transport with those baggage and presents. Take your phone and dial 239-435-1320 or 888-212-1799 for a limousine service near Fort Lauderdale , Sarasota, Miami, and Southwest Florida. Things to Consider when Booking a Hotel

When you come to an unknown place and have to spend a few days, first thing that comes in mind is the place where you have to stay. Of course, you do not want to carry your baggage anywhere you go and also you need a place to sleep on. It is either a pension house or a hotel.  To book a Hotel there are things that you should consider. Here are some things that might help:
Star Ratings- it is used to classify the hotel according to their quality. If you want to book on a luxurious hotel, then, choose a Five Star Hotel. If budget is in the limit then you can choose a lower one.
Location- Yes, the location is very important. A good hotel location can be determine if the area is near the event center if you are attending a convention or any big event or the place where you want to go, like beaches (yes, there are hotels near the beaches) example for couples who wants to spend a romantic honeymoon near the splashing waters.
Hotels’s Official Website / Good guest reviews- if you want to check for hotels, you ask for friends recommendations or search through the internet. A hotel with its own website is great. You can check if they have Good guest reviews and can browse all their services. The best thing is, you can book online.
Free Wi-Fi- Internet is now very important for business transactions and for family and friends communication.
A private bathroom with a free Hotel toiletries and well functioned facilities- many of us would prefer a complete and clean bathroom.
Air-Conditioning/ Heating (dependent on the climate)- A hotel would not be the best place if Aircon and Heating is not present or not working well.
Rewards/ Customer Loyalty Programs- this is the great deal for business travellers. When you love the hotel you will always go back. Who would not want a discount?
Breakfast Included (or a cheap option nearby)- A free breakfast in the morning makes a great start.
Size – It really does matter. A cheaper price for a larger room is a big advantage.
Hotels Above Malls - A place where anything is accessible. Especially malls. If you want to go on shopping, you don’t need to travel anymore.
Notification About Price Changes -A good hotel service will update its customers about the changes especially the prices.
